This month (and the summer in general) has been a busy one! First Canada to see my family, then Portugal for a friend’s wedding ☀️🇵🇹 My partner and I had never been to Portugal so it was a fun adventure exploring some of the country. And we had perfect weather! AND we didn’t get sick. An absolute miracle. 🙏🏻
And then it was time for my annual Twitch livestream marathon! Every time someone donates, the stream timer goes up. This year I livestreamed for nearly 30 hours! 🎉 While exhausting, it’s genuinely so much fun and a great way to celebrate the end of the summer.
While Youtube is my bread and butter, my OG, my original home - it’s not always successful. Having a place on Twitch (and Patreon/YT Memberships) keeps everything floating along, especially when a Youtube videos flops. And they do! It’s just the fun of making content.
Now as all the summer chaos has come to a close, I’m looking forward to September. I’m working with new sponsors, trying new video ideas and we keep moving forward! Only time will tell if they’re successful (but I’m excited to find out either way).
And honestly, I’m excited to just be ✨ at home ✨

A+N Updates
Like I mentioned earlier, the big event this month was our Twitch party! We played games, took gross shots (soy sauce shot, anyone?) and built lego 🥃🧱 We watched terribly bad movies, competed in an online scavenger hunt and guessed “whose bathroom is this?” Yes, really. 🚽
If you missed the party this year, don’t worry! I’m always live every Wednesday + Sunday night (plus it’s free to join!).
Youtube this month had some great highs and terrible lows. I reacted to Team GB at the Olympics (that was a flop), but reacting to crazy British adverts did great! I also compared British vs Canadian food (one of my favourite topics) and ranked some of the best British words. If you ever have a video topic you want me to cover, please let me know!
If you’d like to watch a bonus full-length weekly video, please consider joining me on Patreon or Youtube Memberships. I post the same content on each platform, but I know some people prefer staying on Youtube or vice versa.
This month for my exclusive content I ranked the best (and worst) British sweets, shared my trip to Portugal plus I brought back some Portuguese snacks for a taste test! 🍭🇬🇧🇵🇹
I also posted my “reacting to Eurovision for the first time” video to the exclusive community. I worked so hard to get that on Youtube as a regular upload, but I just could not appease the Copyright Gods 💀 It happens.
What I’ve been watching + reading
This month I watched two crime/spy/thrillers TV shows: The Veil and Presumed Innocent. Both were really good! The Veil even had a scene in Canterbury which was fun to see.
I also popped over to the cinema for a solo movie date to see Twisters 🌪️ I LOVED the original as a kid, so I went into this new one with pretty low expectations. But it was fun! It doesn’t have the magic of the first one, but still an enjoyable watch. Plus I love Glenn Powell! 🤠 Yee haw!
Every month I choose a random book for an informal Book Club on our Discord (available to certain tiers on Patreon/YT Members) and this month we read A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole 🇺🇸🌭 This was one of those modern classics I always meant to read but never got around to it. I really enjoyed it! I didn’t always run to pick it up, but would get totally enthralled once I started. The characters are shockingly unique and fully fleshed out, each one of them could have had their own novel. I think it’s safe to say the plot is one I’ve never read before.
I’m glad I finally picked this one up!
Bits that made me laugh
Thank you so much for reading and thank you so much for your support over the years! This spring/summer-ish was my 7 year anniversary of uploading on Youtube. Wild.
Time. Where does it go? Who knows. Thanks for being here.
