I am so grateful for the month I’ve had - I hope you’ve had a good one, too. I’ve met up with friends, saw new films at the cinema, tried new snacks, lifted weights and read great books!
After being sick for what felt like most of 2024, May was a ✨ literal dream month ✨
I’m jinxed myself now, haven’t I?
Aside from all the walks, snacks and films, my partner and I have been hard at work on our fragrance company Edenbridge (if that’s news to you: hi! I run a fragrance company called Edenbridge!) It’s something we’re both passionate about and it’s been really rewarding. Many afternoons this month were spent labelling bottles while listening to podcasts.

A+N Updates
This month on Twitch we crashed a few buses, watched an equally hilarious/terrible movie and built lego (plus we lost a few pieces along the way).
It was me. I lost the pieces. 💀
If you want to join the livestream community, please pop over to Twitch! I’m live every Sunday and Wednesday night, starting at 5:30pm BST. It’s free and, if I do say so myself, has a wonderful and weird community.
Youtube this month was up and down! Such is the way Youtube is. A major high this month was Reacting to England Football Chants ⚽ This has been the quickest video to reach 100K views! Totally wild. In less successful news (but equally fun), I did a blind taste-test of ASDA knock-off products vs the British classics, plus shared some weird UK laws!
If you’d like to watch a bonus full-length video every week, please consider joining me on Patreon or Youtube Memberships! This month I shared my favourite funny videos, explored unpopular opinions about the UK and reviewed what I’ve been watching lately! It’s been a busy month and I’m grateful for it 🫡
What I’ve been watching + reading
I’ve done a lot of reading lately 📚 I run an informal book club in our Discord (available to Patreon, Twitch + Youtube Memberships tiers) and our monthly pick was Project Hail Mary. I loved it so much! 🧑🏻🚀 The plot, tone and wholesomeness totally surprised me. I’ve never read a “the world is ending” book with a big smile on my face… but I have now!
I’m also still working on the Three Body Problem series and finished Book 2 this month 📡 I also loved it! But it’s definitely a different vibe (and certainly not very wholesome…)
Finally, I read the fourth Thursday Murder Club book, “The Last Devil to Die.” 🔪 It was fine! I think it’s getting a bit old as it’s the basically the same thing over and over again, but the characters are absolutely delightful. And to be fair, I’ll probably read the next one if Richard Osman writes it.
Bits that made me laugh
Thanks so much for reading and I hope you had a good month, too! It’s really starting to feel like summer is just around the corner. ☀️ Can’t wait for sunny days, blue skies and sweating on my laptop lol
