Hey, October!

Hi everyone, it's me!
What a month it has been! Of course the biggest news this September has been Queen Elizabeth's passing. I think it's safe to say I've never experienced anything quite like it. With all the change and sadness, I hope you're doing OK!
September has been full of work - as usual - but I'm grateful to be busy. In-between all that, I've been getting back into knitting! My Grandma taught me when I was younger but it had been ages since I did it... so I made my first-ever knitted hat! Thank God for Youtube tutorials. I'm really pleased with how it turned out, too. I may or may not already be working on another one...
Last month for my Book Club on Patreon, I read The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski - one of the Witcher books. I really enjoyed it! I've never read, watched or played much of the Witcher but I thought it was a great introduction to the characters and the lore. This month I've got 2 books on the go - nothing better than getting cozy and reading as the weather turns!
In general, I've been trying to allocate more time to hobbies - including knitting - maybe that could be a video topic for someday soon?
